EatRight Ontario - This is an initiative of the Ministry of Health Promotion and the Dietitians of Canada. Through this program, schools (or other interested parties) can access a registered dietitian by phone or by email to answer any questions they have about healthy eating. Their website is, www.eatrightontario.ca.

Wider Benefits of Learning Research Report: What is the relationship between child nutrition and school outcomes? - "There is a complex interrelationship between nutrition, social and economic factors and health and education. The timing, frequency, content and quality of food eaten is related to developmental, cognitive and behavioural outcomes that influence quality of life."

Menu of Choices - This online resource, published by Ophea, provides the latest quality information and supports to help school communities understand, plan and address healthy eating. Their website, www.menuofchoices.ca, encourages entire school communities to take a proactive approach to addressing the eating behaviors of children and youth.
